We want everyone to be able to use this website. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. An external audit has not yet taken place.
What we have implemented
- All content can be read without JavaScript, navigation works fully by keyboard
- Visible focus indicator, skip link to content, clear heading structure
- Text and controls with sufficient contrast in light and dark mode
- Choice of appearance: automatic by device setting, light or dark
- Motion is brief and is switched off with the “reduce motion” setting
- Forms with visible labels and understandable error messages
- Complete versions in German and English
Known limitations
- Some older articles contain images without meaningful alternative text. We are revising them step by step.
- The click demos under /demo/ are separate applications and are not fully accessible.
